Ford – Pioneer of Cars

After twenty years of continuous experimentation Henry Ford achieved the result. In October 1908, he introduced the Model T of Ford car. This model changed the world on wheels. It introduced the world of cars. The model was the first manufactured car in the world. It was a very powerful car considering the technology of that time. The first modeled Ford car had a top speed of about 45 mph.

Car manufacturer Ford had its headquarters at Michigan, USA. Means, it had its production and assembly plant there. In October 1913, mass production of this car began in the production unit. In 1914, Ford produced a record number of cars. The number was quite large - 308,162 cars, considering the time and technological developments. The Ford car could now be available in various colors. The price has also dropped to $260 from $825.

The fact is that the likeness changes with a person and times. So, keeping in mind about this the car manufacturer Ford has also developed its cars and brought changes in them. The first model of Ford had a mechanical type of start of the engines. Drivers had to get down from the car if it had stopped suddenly on the way driving. The manufacturer’s understood the problem and quickly sought out the trouble. They came with the solution of electric start.

To maintain one’s presence in the changing markets and competition, the company found that T Models were becoming outdated. So, Henry Ford decided to cease the production of T cars. After five months, a new model began its production in the plant. The model A began producing in the plant. But the model T, the first car in the world showed the automobiles of today the design and influenced the society as well as on the automobile industry.
