Hyundai – Replica of Modernity

Hyundai is one of the sixth largest car manufacturers of the world just behind Honda. Located in South Korea, the company operates the world’s biggest car producing facility, competent of manufacturing near to 1.6 million vehicles each year. By 2010, Hyundai plans to become the 5th largest car manufacturer in the world and is investing €1 billion in a new plant in a Czech Republic in sub-continent of Europe. The egg-shaped logo of the company signifies two people, the company and customer linking their arms together. In Korean language the word Hyundai means modernity. 

Hyundai concerns to a set of companies and associated organizations that has been known for manufacturing automobiles. In 1947 Chung Ju-Yung a great business man, founded Hyundai as a construction company in South Korea. In short interval of time the Hyundai Group finally became the biggest conglomerate company in South Korea. By the 1970s the company started building shipyards and vessels and by 1986 the company produced its first vehicle- an Excel and the Hyundai’s line-up continues to grow since the beginning.

After the death of Chung Ju-Yang in 2001, The Company was divided up into three separate entities that include The Hyundai Motor Group, The Hyundai Heavy Industries, and The Hyundai Engineering and Construction. In terms of car manufacturer, Hyundai is known for its style, dependability, reliability and contains a great line up of product offering the newest technology and design equipped with affordable price tag. The current line up includes Sonata, Grandeur, Accent, Amica, Getz, Matrix, and Coupe S III.

The company has wide variety of famous cars in its crosshairs. The Lexus ES, Chrysler 300, Cadillac CTS, and Hyundai Genesis Sedan are some of the new cars mentioned by Hyundai. Alongside automobiles and vehicles, the company also manufactures auto body parts for the different Hyundai owners around the world.
