Toyota: Great Name, Unique Designs!

The Toyota Motor Corporation is an established name when it comes to talk about automotive market. The company’s sincerity concerning the production of automotives has always been unquestionable. No wonder, the great name has been ruling over the market.

Toyota is also known for its divisions producing luxury cars such as Lexus. Scion is also there. Moreover, the company presented 27 vehicles in the 4th China (Guangzhou) International Auto Exhibition that had started on July 24, 2006.

Toyota has also been known for its concept car design. The company’s unique Space Concept design has made the market somewhat curious. It is anxiously waiting to see whether the company’s Auris Space Concept vehicle is going to turn out to be the next Toyota Corolla with five doors. The Auris Space Concept vehicle is expected to be an outstanding model.


Toyota calls the Auris Space Concept design as “Vibrant Clarity”. It is somewhat similar to Vitz or Yaris. Looked at from the front end, it appears to be another Yaris. However, it does not imitate Yaris. The overhangs are one of the highlights of the Space Concept design. These are short in size and make the exterior of the vehicle quite unique it itself. The Space Concept design also accommodates wheels that measure nineteen inches. The prominently visible brake calipers further add to the uniqueness of the design.   

But a large number of competitors and critics see nothing innovative in the design of the company’s Auris Space Concept vehicle. For them, the vehicle is absolutely Yaris based!

These critics are of the opinion that Toyota has not produced a concept car at all! According to them, the concept car is basically the same Yaris again, but in new headlamps and grille. If the vehicle successfully controls the market as Toyota vehicles have always done, these opinions will prove to be mere speculations!
