The Suzuki Motor Corporation, 12th largest automobile manufacturer in the world, was founded in 1909 by Michio Suzuki and now, with 2009 approaching fast, the great name has been there since a century! The Motor Corporation is headquartered in Suzuki is known across the world for manufacturing motor vehicles and light trucks. However, during the first thirty years, the production focused on manufacturing weaving looms for the Japanese silk industry. At present, the revenue drawn by the company comes across $20 billion. It was in 1955 that the company produced its first vehicle, Suzulight, a light weight car.
